About Us
Our Story
CEO and founder David D. Quirk began what would become a multimilion dollar corporation the same way anything starts, from an inmaterial dream and a will of steel. Following a dishwasher job at a local restaurant, Quirk was hired by a neighbor to do basic landscaping duties. He quickly found his footing and love for the hard calluses associated with outdoor manual labor. By 1984, Quirk, a now senior at The Austin Preperatory School, had over 30 clients, averaging $150 a week. Immediatelly following his high school graduation, Quirk put forth all of his focus to the infant company, which would be officially incorporated in Massachusetts just a few months later in September of 1984. Now, 37 years in the future, Quirk Construction Corporation remains a staple of New England field building, Quirk being one of the first New Englanders to earn the honor of Certified Field Builder by the American Sports Builder Association. Today, Quirk Construction specilalizes in both artificial and organic grass fields, parks, and playgrounds. He simply builds anything you can walk on, drive on, or play on. The single bobcat skid steer loader from back in 1984 still remains in Quirk's thoughts, acrediting it to the snowball effect of success and reputation Quirk Construction Corporation now holds.
